If you’re looking for plenty of open space for hiking, cycling and general exploring then this is one of the best places in the country for it. What’s more, places like Haddon Hall and Chatsworth House are all within easy reach and perfect for a day out.

2 Llwynifan Farm South Wales Touring Park - Carmarthenshire

But if you’re truly looking to get away from it all and have an adult only weekend then we would highly recommend Llwynifan Farm South Wales Touring Park. This site is perfectly located if you’re looking to explore the Brecon Beacons. It’s also right there on the edge of the Gower Peninsula and there’s plenty of other local attractions to keep you busy. 

One of the main attractions of the Llwynifan Farm South Wales Touring Park are the incredible views you’ll get from your pitch. It’s no wonder that this site has won awards over the years but what’s even better is that you don’t have to go into the back of beyond to get here; it’s just a short, one mile drive from the motorway!

There are some fully serviced pitches but all have electric hook ups and there are other facilities like individual showers, laundry and even vanity units. 

3 Wayfarers Park - Cornwall

What’s even better is that this park is in a prime location with the local market town and beach just a stone’s throw away.

There are a number of tent pitches located in the lower field with a further 39 pitches for caravans further up. Once you’re settled, you’ll notice how easy it is to access some of the wonderful attractions that Cornwall has. For example, in the local market town we mentioned earlier, you’ll find some quaint little cafes, shops and galleries. There’s the castle at Mounts Bay to enjoy and even when you remain on site, there’s plenty to do. 

Wayfarers Park has a gorgeous bistro as well as a shop and a range of facilities. If you want somewhere that’s in the thick of things but still offers peace and relaxation, this park has the perfect balance. 

4 Run Cottage Touring Park - Suffolk

5 Widdicombe Farm Touring Park - Devon

But of course, you’re not going to spend the whole time on this adult only site and when it comes to exploring, you’ve got places like Cheddar Gorge and Weston Super Mare right on the doorstep.

But the site itself does have a great range of facilities. Being a dog friendly site, you’ll be pleased to know that there is a dedicated, enclosed dog walking space. There’s also a shop that sells delicious baked goods and a range of takeaway food options so you don’t need to worry about cooking.

7 Rosebud Farm Touring Park - Cornwall
